Aspects 66: International Advances in Pesticide Application 2002
There is still much scope for improving the efficacy, efficiency and environmental safety of spray application and improving our understanding of its underlying processes. Many scientists throughout the world are involved in research and development to this end.

This volume of Aspects of Applied Biology reports the proceedings of the AAB/BCPC conference at the University of Surrey, Guildford, UK on 7-9 January 2002. It contains 59 scientific papers reporting much of the latest research and development relating to spray application. The conference was divided into 11 sessions: 1) International regulation and standards 2) Optimisation of application techniques 3) Variable rate application 4) Spray drift 5) Interaction of formulation with application 6) Spray application to tree and bush fruit 7) Spray application to vines 8) Dose expression and adjustment for fruit crops 9) Industrial, amenity and public health applications 10) Concentrates, contamination and operator exposure 11) Methods and techniques.
