The programme for this conference will be open to any topics or areas within basic or applied plant virology, will include all current areas of interest to Plant Virologists and will consist of presentations by invited speakers as well as offered papers by conference delegates.
We welcome submissions from established researchers, post-docs and students. The meeting will include the student competitions as outlined below.

Student Prizes Student prizes will be awarded for the best talk (Bryan Harrison prize) and best poster (Raymond/Roger Hull prize). When submitting your offer, please indicate that you wish to be entered for the competition.
Papers and posters from the conference will be reproduced in an Abstracts book, which will be available to delegates at the conference. Please send details of your proposed talk or poster to the AAB office (Email to Rebecca@aab.org.uk; Fax +44 (0)1789 470234). Alternatively you can submit your offer via the web page, giving the title of the paper, authors, affiliations and a short synopsis of your paper. Click on ABSTRACTS in the left hand column of the AAB home page, then click on the conference title. You can register your email and, after being sent a password, can upload your offer. Please indicate whether your offer is for a platform presentation or a poster, and/or if your paper/poster is for the student competition. Please ensure your pop up blocker is off, otherwise the Abstract may not upload properly.
The registration fee
Registration includes conference attendance, a copy of Abstracts, B&B accom. for 5/6 Sept (for residential delegates), dinner Sun 5 Sept, the conference dinner and trip to Burgers Zoo Mon 6 Sept, lunches and refreshments from Sun 5 Sept to Tues 7 Sept and vat at 19%.
