Mathematical Modelling in Plants
6 March 2018
The aim of the conference is to bring together current and developing areas of plant mathematical modelling. It will include examples of biological and modelling approaches being used together to improve the understanding and enhancement of plant functions. Target species include model plant species, wheat, potatoes, vegetables and fruit species and additional plant model systems. The advancement could be made in any physiological aspects and metabolism of the plant including photosynthesis, sugar metabolism, hormone regulations and so on.
Additional advances could be made by presenting novel methods for mathematical modelling adapted for the complexity of the plant metabolic processes. The conference invites cross-disciplinary approaches and advances to be presented for the future direction of plant mathematical modelling in the UK and worldwide.
