SUMMARY:Advances in Nematology 2025
DESCRIPTION:Visit Event Website\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe are delighted that ‘Advances in Nematology 2025′ will take place as a single-day hybrid event on Thursday December 4th hosted at The Linnean Society in central London and online \nThis event is hosted by the Association of Applied Biologists Nematology Specialist Group and invites contributions from areas encompassing all the applied biology of nematology (molecular biology of nematodes or hosts\, ecology\, epidemiology\, management of plant-parasitic nematodes\, entomopathogenic nematodes and emerging diagnostic methods). \nIn 2025 we will host poster presentations from in-person and online delegates\, alongside 30-minute talks from invited speakers and 15 minute talks selected from submitted abstract. \nIn order to encourage further discussions we will host an early evening social event in the poster room at The Linnean Society with drinks and snacks. \nWe especially encourage the participation of students and early career professionals. There are prizes given for the preferred student/ECP presentation (the Brian Kerry prize supported by CABI-UK) and an AAB Nematology student/ECP poster prize. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nInvited Speakers\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n– Hans Helder (Wageningen University) \n– Anika Damm (University of Cambridge) \n– Richard Binks (Koppert): Efficacy of Entomopathogenic Nematodes in Crop Protection (draft title) \n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbstract Submission\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis meeting has a strong reputation to provide opportunities for early career professionals to present their work. \nWe encourage anyone who is working on applied Nematology to submit a abstract to either provide an oral or poster presentation. \nDelegates selected to provide an oral presentation will give a 15-minute talk. \nPoster presenters will be invited to bring a poster with maximum A1 size in portrait orientation. \nOnline delegates are welcome to submit an abstract and can be selected to provide a oral or poster presentation. We will publish a Digital-Poster-Book that contains all meeting posters. Depending on number of posters we will print poster of online delegates to be displayed at the live meeting. \nAbstract submission deadline is October 20th 2025 \nSUBMIT an ABSTRACT HERE
