The inaugural ‘Biennial AAB Presidential Look-Forward: Nature-based and engineered biology solutions to climate mitigation ‘ is an international conference primarily organised by the current AAB President. Every two-years we will bring together applied biologists to explore how aspects of applied biology can be used to tackle major global challenges. The focus for this 2022 event has been proposed by Professor Christine Foyer and will explore how scientific discoveries can be applied to mitigate the upcoming challenges of food insecurity and climate change.
