Sprayer Cleaning Workshop at the Haus der Familie, Oberbozen, Italy on 2-3 October 2019

Sprayer cleaning (internal and external) is considered one of the most important elements of the potential pesticide point source water contamination, and it is really necessary to find and disseminate ways to avoid or mitigate this risk. There are several different ways to address the present mitigation solutions proposed by researchers, regulatory bodies, sprayers manufacturers and private companies. This workshop aimed to exchange experiences from different stakeholders in order to provide improvements on this topic, through the demonstration and dissemination of solutions to avoid or mitigate the water contamination risk.

Thanks go to all the Editors for this Aspects – Paolo Balsari, Simon Cooper, Emilio Gil, Richard Glass, Tom Robinson and Jan van de Zande, and to Carol Millman from the AAB Office, who put this book together.
